Instytut Medycyny Pracy Imienia Prof. Dra Med. Jerzego Nofera w Lodzi (NIOM)
Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine (NIOM) in Lodz is a highly specialized scientific research unit dealing with the issues of, broadly understood, occupational health care as well as issues related to public and environmental health. NIOM is well experienced in experimental dosimetry. Since 2005 the institute has been participating in four European projects mainly on topics related to the assessment of doses in interventional cardiology and radiology. The involvement in the projects is not only of importance for the dosimetry aspects, but also benefited of well-established contacts in hospitals.
